Chenxi Zang has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2011, they began their career as an Environmental Consultant at Golder Associates, where they were responsible for consulting work in EIA and soil remediation. Chenxi also performed auditing work in due diligence for the environmental team. In 2013, Chenxi worked as an Energy Market Analyst at EnerNOC, where they provided assistance in planning and designing energy risk management strategies. Chenxi was also involved in estimating site and portfolio baselines for a demand response program. In 2022, Chenxi joined BESIX Watpac as a Social Procurement & EHS Analyst, where they developed and maintained a social and sustainable procurement management system. Chenxi also worked on data flow and analytic development. Currently, Chenxi is a Sustainability/Business Analyst at Delta Group, starting in 2023.

Chenxi Zang completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology at Tongji University from 2005 to 2009. They then pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology at the University of Melbourne from 2010 to 2011. Subsequently, Chenxi Zang obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Melbourne in 2011-2012.

In addition to their academic achievements, Chenxi Zang also earned certifications outside of formal education. In August 2012, they obtained a Professional Translator (English to Chinese) certification from the National Accreditation Authority of Translation and Interpretation. Similarly, in July 2012, Chenxi Zang obtained a Professional Engineer (Level 1) certification from Engineers Australia.
