Matilde Pereira

Matilde Pereira is a Project Engineer at DEME Group since June 2023, with a comprehensive background in leadership and project management within the academic and environmental sectors. Previously, Matilde served as Director for the Department of Infrastructures, Services and Informatics at the Associação dos Estudantes do Instituto Superior Técnico from November 2019 to November 2022, overseeing a team of ten and managing services for the IST community. Matilde also held multiple representatives' roles for the Environmental Engineering program at Instituto Superior Técnico, advocating for student concerns and connecting students with faculty. Additionally, Matilde contributed as General Secretary for the organizing committee of the Jornadas de Engenharia do Ambiente 2021 and gained experience in customer service and inventory management as a Scholarship Student at the Biblioteca do Instituto Superior Técnico. Matilde Pereira holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and furthered studies at Université Laval for a Master Thesis in Environmental Chemistry.
