Pedro Ramos

Pedro Ramos is a professional CFD Engineer at DEME Group since August 2022, specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations for dredging, deep-sea mining, and offshore technologies. Previously, Pedro served as a Post-Doctoral Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Ghent University, focusing on hydraulics and water flow modeling. Additionally, Pedro held positions as a Hydraulic Engineer and CFD Consultant at Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium and the University of Porto. Pedro's educational background includes a PhD in Hydraulics and CFD from Ghent University and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering - Hydraulics from the University of Porto. Pedro also contributed as an Alumni Ambassador for the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto in Belgium.
