Jake Allen

Jake Allen has a diverse work experience in the field of motion design and animation. Jake is currently working as an Associate Creative Director at Demo Duck since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Sarofsky as a Senior 3D Animator & Designer from May 2019 to February 2022, and as a Freelance Motion Designer from December 2018 to April 2019. In these roles, they worked on projects for clients such as Verizon, Jeep, and various television titles. Before that, they worked at Odd Machine as a 3D Artist & Motion Designer from November 2013 to November 2018. In this role, they worked on commercials, web videos, and feature film projects for clients like CAT, Wilson, and Revlon. Jake also managed a render farm and developed in-house utilities. Additionally, they have freelance experience as a Motion Designer, where they designed and animated videos for web and TV delivery. Their clients in this role include Ecolab, Columbia College Chicago, and Teach For America. Jake has also held internships at Leo Burnett as a Creative Technologist Intern and at SCAD Radio as an Audience Relations Manager.

Jake Allen attended Lake Forest High School from 2003 to 2006, where they completed their high school education. Jake then studied at the Centro Educativo Bilingüe Internacional from 2006 to 2007 for their 13th Year Abroad program. From 2008 to 2011, Jake attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Motion Media Design.
