George Tavantzis has extensive work experience in various industries. George is currently serving as the Project Management Office Director at DEMO Pharmaceuticals S.A. since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at JOTIS SA for a significant period, where they held multiple roles. George started as a Process Engineer in November 2009 and was responsible for project management, process development, and production line maintenance. Later, they were promoted to Head of the Process and Innovation Department in November 2014, where they managed a team of six people and oversaw the operation of the department, including personnel training, budget monitoring, and the design and commissioning of new production lines.

George Tavantzis has a diverse education history. George began their academic journey by attending AGIOS STEFANOS HIGHSCHOOL from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained their High School degree. After completing high school, George pursued their passion for Chemical Engineering and joined the National Technical University of Athens from 2001 to 2006. During this time, they earned their degree in Chemical Engineering.
In 2004 and 2005, George had the opportunity to study abroad at Charles University as part of the Erasmus program. George was granted the scholarship from the Greek State Scholarships Foundation to support their Erasmus Studies. To further enhance their skills and knowledge, George pursued a Master's degree at the University of Warwick in 2008 and 2009. Their Master's degree was focused on Engineering Business Management.
