Cydnee Whiteman

Cydnee Whiteman currently serves as the Elementary School Principal at Democracy Prep Public Schools, a position held since July 2017, after progressing through various leadership roles including Assistant Principal and LeaderU Fellow, where Cydnee gained essential skills in school leadership. With a background in instructional coaching, Cydnee has developed detailed coaching plans to support teachers and enhance student achievement through data analysis and targeted feedback. Experience also includes roles as a Grade Level Lead and Teacher, actively contributing to student-focused initiatives. Prior to joining Democracy Prep, Cydnee worked with TNTP Teaching Fellows and City Year, gaining valuable insights in supporting underserved communities. Cydnee holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Central Florida and is pursuing a Master of Education at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
