Leslie Martes

Leslie Martes is currently the VP, Political and Strategic Initiatives at the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee. In this role, Leslie manages a department of twenty-four with four direct reports and is actively working towards electing local Democrats and ending right-wing gerrymandering. Previously, Leslie has held various positions in different organizations such as State Electoral Campaigns Director at the League of Conservation Voters and Program and Outreach Director at The Voter Participation Center. A graduate of Scripps College with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History, Leslie has a strong background in political campaigns and electoral work.
