Jennifer Edson, CPA

Jennifer Edson, CPA has over 28 years of experience in the accounting and finance industry. Jennifer began their career in 1992 as an Audit Senior at Arthur Andersen LLP, where they specialized in start-up companies in the Boulder, Colorado area. In 1996, they moved to LexisNexis Sheshunoff as Manager of Revenue Accounting, where they were responsible for managing the revenue cycle for a $50M publishing company and provided detailed analysis for multiple merger and acquisition projects. In 1998, they joined PeopleSoft as a Financials Implementation Instructor, where they were responsible for stand-up delivery of course materials for 1, 4 and 5 day classes in regional training centers and on-site at customer locations, as well as curriculum development. In 2000, they started their own business, Jennifer L Edson, CPA, providing CFO and Director of Finance level consulting services for start-up companies across a wide range of industries. Most recently, they joined Denali Founder Consulting as a CFO Consultant in 2021, providing fractional CFO services for start-ups and emerging companies. From May 2021 to October 2022, they also served as full-time Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for internal company operations.

Jennifer Edson, CPA obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa in 1992. Jennifer later obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from the Washington State Board of Accountancy in September 2007.
