Eric Byres

Eric Byres is a Technical Advisor at DeNexus and has over 25 years of experience in the industrial cyber security field. Eric is also the CEO of aDolus Technology Inc., a company that provides the FACT security platform to aid in the detection of malicious and counterfeit software in “smart devices” used in the industrial, aerospace, and medical fields. Prior to their current positions, Eric was a Senior Partner at ICS Secure Ltd., a Chief Technology Officer at Belden Inc., and a Director of Industrial Cyber Security at Wurldtech Analytics Inc. Eric has also served as a Research Faculty member and Manager of BCIT’s Critical Infrastructure Security Centre.

Eric Byres has a BASc from the University of British Columbia in Engineering from 1978-1981 and also went to Delbrook Senior Secondary.
