Roland Weede has a diverse work experience in the legal field, specializing in intellectual property law. Roland has held roles as a Department Head of Legal Services for Trademarks at Dennemeyer since 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Lawyer specializing in trademark and competition law at Patentanwälte Henkel, Breuer & Partner from 2014 to 2017. Roland was also a Founding Partner of TMSJ Rechtsanwälte, where they focused on intellectual property law and contract drafting for medium-sized companies from 2008 to 2014. Before that, they worked as a Legal Counsel at Trademark Service Japan and as a Lawyer at Sonderhoff & Einsel Law and Patent Office. Additionally, Roland gained experience as a Werkstudent at Hewlett Packard GmbH.

Roland Weede completed their Abitur from Gymnasium Neubiberg from 1984 to 1993, with a focus on Physics and Latin. Roland then pursued their higher education and obtained their Erstes juristisches Staatsexamen degree in Jura from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 1994 to 1999. Additionally, in February 2014, they became board-certified as a lawyer for Intellectual Property Law and Competition Law by the Rechtsanwaltskammer München.
