Philip Boven has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the creative, strategy, and consulting industries. Philip is currently employed as the Head of Solutions, EMEA at Dentsu Creative since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Dentsu Creative Amsterdam as a Strategy & Innovation Director from November 2017.

From 2015 to 2019, Philip worked as a Freelance Digital Strategy & Innovation Consultant at W.A.C.A. Philip also pursued their passion for painting during this period by serving as an Artist in Residence at Despina from December 2018 to April 2019.

Philip's experience includes working at IBM iX, where they served as a Sr. Managing Strategy Consultant from November 2016 to December 2017. Philip also worked as a Strategy Consultant at Mirabeau, specializing in UX and UI design, from May 2016 to November 2016.

Prior to these roles, Philip gained extensive experience at Isobar, a renowned digital agency. Philip held various positions, including Strategy Director, where they worked with clients such as Enterprise Rent-A-Car EMEA, Auto Trader UK, Google EMEA, and Grolsch. Philip also worked as a Strategist, focusing on developing social and media strategies for existing clients and new business pitches.

Earlier in their career, Philip worked as an Art Director at ACLC and as a Site Supervisor/Landscape Designer at Hollander Landscaping.

Throughout their career, Philip has demonstrated expertise in value proposition design, product strategy, customer research, workshop facilitation, project management, and business development. Philip has a strong background in strategy and innovation, particularly in the digital realm.

Philip Boven has an extensive education history with a focus on business, management, and strategy. In 2020-2021, they attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and completed the Stanford LEAD Business Program, which provided him with knowledge in business leadership, innovation, transformation, and strategy. Prior to this, in 2019, they pursued a Business and Financial Modeling Specialization at The Wharton School, enhancing their skills in business administration and management. In 2018-2019, Philip earned an EMBA degree from the Sustainability Management School (SUMAS), specializing in business and commerce.

Continuing their development, Philip pursued design thinking methodologies at IBM Training in 2017 and obtained a certification as a Scrum Master from the Scrum Master Alliance. Philip also has a background in advertising, having completed diploma programs at the IPA Institute of Practitioners in Advertising in the UK. In 2014, they earned an Excellence Diploma in brand strategy, and in the same year, they completed the IPA Advertising Effectiveness Diploma, focusing on campaign strategy.

Philip's academic journey began earlier with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam, which they pursued from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained an Honors BA from the University of Toronto from 2001 to 2005, majoring in Architecture and Art History.
