Mike Harrington

Assistant Equipment Manager at Denver Broncos

Mike Harrington is the current assistant equipment manager for the Denver Broncos. Mike has previous experience working as a building commissioning engineer and an application engineer.

Harrington began their career in 2007 as an application engineer with Setpoint Systems Corporation. In this role, they were responsible for representing the engineering department at weekly senior management meetings, providing manpower loading for the engineering department, and leading the engineering standards committee. Mike was also responsible for designing and building projects in laboratory, office, and government settings, ensuring that LEED points were obtained on LEED Platinum Certified Buildings, and creating sequences of operations for control systems. In 2013, they left Setpoint Systems Corporation to work as a building commissioning engineer with Group14 Engineering.

In their role as a building commissioning engineer, Harrington was responsible for routine travel to remote job sites to perform full building commissioning services. This included preparing commissioning documentation, reviewing building designs for energy efficiency and LEED requirements, and implementing building commissioning plans. Mike also performed site inspections and functional testing analysis to ensure that installed equipment met the design intent and that clients’ expectations were met. In August 2013, they left Group14 Engineering to take on their current role as assistant equipment manager for the Denver Broncos.

Mike Harrington has a B.S. in Engineering Mechanical from Colorado School of Mines.

They are on a team with Garrett Lawrence - Assistant Equipment Manager, Jason Schell - Assistant Equipment Manager. Their manager is Chris Valenti, Equipment Manager.
