Trustee at Denver Center for the Performing Arts

Patty Baca is a champion of underserved populations in all that she does. She has spent decades advocating for equal educational opportunities in the city. Patty served the Denver Public Schools as its first bilingual teacher, first Latina Deputy Superintendent and first Latina Executive Director of Labor Relations. An integral figure in greater arts and cultural community, Patty has served as a Trustee or Board Member for the Boys and Girls Clubs Metro Denver, CherryArts, The Colorado Trust, Denver Art Museum, Denver Botanic Gardens, Denver International Film Society and Denver Metropolitan Major League Stadium District among many others. She graduated with a Bachelor’s from University of Denver, Master’s from University of Northern Colorado and Doctorate of Education from the University of Houston.
