Luis A. Colón

Luis A. Colón is a board member at the Denver Scholarship Foundation and was previously the Chief Development Officer at Mile High United Way. Luis has been in their current role since March of 2018 and has been with Mile High United Way since June of 2019. In their role as Chief Development Officer, Luis led all resource development efforts for the organization and was responsible for increasing revenue by 11% year-over-year. Prior to their work with Mile High United Way, Luis was with the Donor Relations team at another organization where they advised individuals and family foundations in crafting philanthropic programs.

Colón received their MBA from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, with a focus in strategy and finance. Luis also holds a MA from the University of Cambridge in mechanical/industrial engineering, and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
