Ann Dunkin currently serves as the Chief Information Officer for the U.S. Department of Energy, overseeing significant IT and high performance computing budgets in support of a decentralized department that manages multiple national laboratories, power administrations, and nuclear security operations. Dunkin's extensive experience includes advisory roles and leadership positions at various organizations, including OptimEyes AI, Dell Technologies, and the County of Santa Clara, where management of large teams and complex budgets has been a consistent theme. Past roles also include overseeing IT operations at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and serving on the Biden-Harris Transition Team, demonstrating a strong commitment to public service and technology strategy. Dunkin holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Industrial and Systems Engineering, respectively.
