Vick S

Vick S has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. They currently hold the position of Principal Electrical Engineer at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Before that, Vick worked as an Electrical Engineer at Ardmore Roderick, where they focused on various ComEd Distribution Engineering projects to enhance the grid's reliability. Additionally, they gained experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation and as an Electrical Engineer at Exelon Nuclear, where they contributed to significant projects and acquired qualifications in reactor systems and design. Vick also worked as an Electrical/Instrumentation and Control Engineer at AECOM (formerly URS Corp.), an Electrical Engineer at KCI Consultants, and an Electrical Engineer in the Fossil Power Technologies division at Sargent & Lundy. Their initial work experience was as a Test Engineer at Motorola Solutions.

Vick S completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 2001 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University from 2020 to 2022. Vick S also holds an additional certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) from IDFPR, obtained in 2011.
