Fiona Ellis

Fiona Ellis is an accomplished digital strategy expert with extensive experience in leadership roles within various governmental organizations in Victoria. Currently serving as the Head of Digital at the Victorian Department of Health, Fiona provides strategic and tactical advice to enhance customer experience and implement communication strategies. Previous roles include Acting Director of Marketing and Digital and Creative Services at the same department, as well as Digital Services Manager for Consumer Affairs Victoria at the Department of Justice and Community Safety. Fiona also held positions at the City of Melbourne, the Department of Justice and Regulation, and the Department of Transport, Planning and Local Infrastructure, where responsibilities ranged from managing digital communications to providing technical thought leadership. Fluent in digital innovation, Fiona holds a PhD in Environmental Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Geographic Information Systems from The Australian National University, alongside a Bachelor of Science with Honors from the University of Melbourne.
