David Jones

David Jones currently serves as the White House Liaison at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development since August 2022. Previously, David held the position of Senior Advisor to the Director at the District Department of Transportation, where responsibilities included advising on management and strategic decisions and leading community engagement initiatives. David's experience also encompasses roles within the DC Government, including Senior Associate Director in the Executive Office of the Mayor and as an elected Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner, focusing on constituent services and policy improvement. Earlier professional roles include Development Officer at Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland and Manager of International Sales at DHL Express, complemented by an international business internship in Japan. David holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of the District of Columbia and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University.
