Kate Houghton

Kate Houghton PSM serves as the Secretary at the Department of Justice and Community Safety in Victoria since December 2022. Prior to this role, Kate held the position of Deputy Secretary at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Vic) from November 2018 and previously at the Department of Justice from February 2017 to June 2018, as well as at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning from September 2014 to February 2017. Kate Houghton holds a Bachelor's degree (Honours) in Economics from Monash University and a Master's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Melbourne.
