Kris Waring

Kris Waring currently serves as the Executive Director of Integrity and Reviews at the Department of Justice and Community Safety in Victoria since July 2019, following a role as Director of Integrity and Investigations. Prior experience includes serving as the Chief Risk and Audit Officer at the Department of Justice and Regulation from February 2016 to July 2019, and holding positions at the Victorian Auditor-General's Office from March 2005 to November 2015, including Sector Director for Education and Audit Manager for Performance Audit. Earlier in the career, Kris Waring was a Principal Consultant at Business Excellence International Ltd. from September 1998 to February 2005. Educational qualifications include completion of the Williamson Community Leadership Program at Leadership Victoria in 2020 and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Aberdeen, achieved between 1993 and 1997.
