Anne Knapp

Anne Knapp currently serves as the Acting Director of Strategic Communications and Strategic Communications Specialist in the Bureau of Global Talent Management at the U.S. Department of State since April 2019. Prior experience includes roles as an Analyst for the United States Government, Lecturer at the University of Colorado Denver, and various positions within the U.S. Department of State, including Staff Assistant to the Ambassador at the U.S. Embassy in Amman, Jordan, and Executive Assistant in the Bureau of International Narcotics & Law Enforcement Affairs. Additional roles include Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, and Events Manager at Politico. Anne Knapp obtained a Master of Arts in Communication from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Colorado Boulder.
