Griffin Rozell

Chief, Strategic Communications For Europe/eurasia at U.S. Department of State

Griffin Rozell has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Vice-Consul at the U.S. Department of State from March 2011 to April 2013. They then served as a Human Resources Officer from July 2013 to May 2015, followed by a role as a Cultural Attache from July 2015 to July 2016. Griffin then held positions as a Spokesperson from July 2017 to August 2020 and again from August 2020 to August 2023. During their time at the U.S. Department of State, Griffin also served as a Foreign Service Officer and Chief of Strategic Communications for Europe/Eurasia. Prior to their government service, Griffin worked as an Assistant Director at Texas A&M University from June 2008 to May 2010.

Griffin Rozell holds a Master's degree in International Relations and National Security Studies from Texas A&M University, which was completed from 2006 to 2008. Griffin also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from Abilene Christian University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.
