Kristin Duquette

Kristin Duquette currently serves as Governance Lead at the U.S. Department of State since November 2024 and is a National Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project since May 2021. Duquette has extensive experience in public policy, having been a Policy Portfolio Manager at FEMA from April 2017 to November 2024, where responsibilities included managing agency policy development and collaborating with key stakeholders such as the White House. Duquette also held various roles, including Preparedness Officer within FEMA and Chairwoman for the DC Government's Multimodal Accessibility Advisory Council. A recognized public speaker, Duquette has participated in initiatives with organizations such as the United Nations and the NCAA, and has contributed to significant events during the Obama Administration as a Political Appointee. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School and certifications in Mediation and Conflict Management from Harvard Law School.
