Shannon R. currently serves as Associate Director at The White House since January 2021, previously holding the position of Deputy Associate Director in the Office of the Social Secretary. During the Biden-Harris Presidential Transition, Shannon R. worked as a Research Assistant from September 2020 to January 2021. Shannon R. also held the role of Program Coordinator at The Aspen Institute from September 2018 to September 2020, where responsibilities included planning and executing fellowship seminars as well as managing relationships with fellows and stakeholders. Additional experiences include a role as a Contract Researcher for Historic Preservation Projects and various research positions at the National Association of Olmsted Parks and the Organization of American Historians. Education includes a BA in American Studies from Franklin & Marshall College, completed in 2016.
