William Buckey

William Buckey serves as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology at the US Army and as a Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs at the U.S. Department of State. With over three decades of military experience, including a role as Colonel in the United States Marine Corps, Buckey has a diverse background in defense and aerospace. Previous positions include Vice President of Business Development at Embraer Defense and Security, and Principal Assistant Deputy Undersecretary of Defense, as well as significant roles in government relations and business development for various organizations. Buckey holds a Master’s Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and National Security Studies from California State University.
