Isis Farmer possesses extensive experience in environmental policy and compliance, currently serving as the Chief of Staff at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management since November 2014. In this role, Isis leads multidisciplinary teams to prepare and review NEPA documentation for renewable energy projects across various states. Prior positions include Deputy Chief of Staff and NEPA Coordinator at BOEM. Isis also worked as an Environmental Biologist at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, coordinating hydropower project reviews and managing compliance investigations. Additional experience includes a research role with NOAA and scholarly pursuits at the University of Delaware, complemented by a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development and Conservation Biology from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Conservation and Entomology from the University of Delaware.
