Jed Cummings

Jed Cummings has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Jed began their career as a Carpenter for TDT Builders. In 2010, they took on a Reliability Engineering Co-op role at Hasbro. The following year, they were a Lean Technical Project Leader Co-op at GE and a Robotic Development Design Team Engineering Internship at International Electronic Machines Corporation. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Mechatronics and Robotics Research Laboratory and as a Robotics Engineering Consultant at the Laboratory of Perceptual Robotics. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Mechanical Engineer at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. In 2020, they became a Software Developer at NH High Peaks, where they developed www.NHHighPeaks.com. Currently, they are a Mechanical Engineering Team Lead and Senior Robotics Engineer at Dephy, Inc.

Jed Cummings obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2012, after studying there from 2007 to 2012. Jed then went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014.
