Sophie Walsh

Sophie Walsh is an experienced professional in risk, compliance, and ethics management, currently serving as the Head of Trust & Safety at Depop since April 2023. Sophie founded and leads the INGO Good Practice Network, with a commitment extending until December 2024. Previous roles include Deputy Director of Integrity and Ethics, as well as Head of Risk & Assurance and Head of Compliance & Ethics at Oxfam from July 2016 to March 2023. Sophie also holds a position as a Board Trustee at PENHA from July 2020 to December 2022. Earlier career experiences include significant roles at Groupon EMEA, where Sophie was involved in risk management across Europe, and positions at the National Skills Academy for Social Care, SEW Business Services, and Acorns Children's Hospice. Sophie holds a BA Hons in Political Science with Sociology from The University of Birmingham and a Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law, Bloomsbury.
