Marlena Edwards is an experienced human resources executive with a robust background in talent management and organizational development. Currently serving as SVP People for the Americas at DEPT® since February 2024, Marlena previously held the position of Chief People Officer at MetaLab, where support for product development was provided to a range of companies. Other notable roles include Chief People Officer at HLK, a St. Louis-based advertising agency, and Chief Talent Officer at Huge, where innovative talent strategies were developed to align with business objectives. Marlena's extensive experience also includes leadership positions at Big Spaceship, Huge, and MKTG, with a solid foundation in HR compliance, process improvement, and team development, complemented by a BA in English from the University at Albany.
