Yaxian Wang

Yaxian Wang is a skilled Product Designer with experience at DerbySoft since November 2020, where roles have included Product Designer, Associate Product Designer (UXR/UX), and UXR/UX Design Intern. Prior experience includes a UX Design Practicum Intern position at Wychwood Barns Community Association, where Yaxian conducted heuristic evaluation and tree testing to enhance the user experience of the St. Clair West Oral History website. Additionally, Yaxian served as a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University, supporting students in the Introduction to Computational Thinking course. Yaxian holds a Master of Information in User Experience Design from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies with a minor in Business from Carleton University, along with initial education in Business/Commerce at Douglas College.
