Danielle Ruppenthal

Danielle Ruppenthal has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Danielle is currently working as a Field Medical Director at Dermavant Sciences since January 2023. Previously, they worked as a Medical Science Liaison at DermTech from July 2022 to January 2023. Before that, Danielle served as a Physician Assistant at Bopp Dermatology & Facial from July 2020 to June 2022 and at Murfreesboro Dermatology Clinic from January 2019 to July 2020. Danielle also worked as a Physician Assistant at The Metabolic Group from May 2018 to December 2018. In addition, Danielle had experience as a Physician Assistant Student in psychiatry at Georgia Regional Hospital at Savannah in January and February 2018 and as a Physician Assistant Student in dermatology at Fayette Area Dermatology in October and December 2017. Prior to their roles in the medical field, Danielle worked as a Microbiology Technician at Auburn University from March 2016 to October 2016. Danielle also served as an Emergency Medical Technician at Lee County Emergency Health Services from January 2014 to September 2015. Additionally, Danielle gained research experience at Auburn University as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant from August 2011 to December 2014 and as a Research Assistant from August 2012 to May 2013. Their research focused on the distribution and usage of metals in mitochondria as well as the metal requirements of a phytopathogen in infection and disease development.

Danielle Ruppenthal holds a Master's degree in Physician Assistant from South University and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Auburn University.
