Nancy Fitzgerald

Nancy Fitzgerald, MS, MBA has a solid work history in the biostatistics field. Nancy is currently working as the Director of Biostatistics at Dermavant Sciences since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Consultant, where they held the position of Director Biostatistics and was responsible for overseeing complex studies and programs. Nancy has also worked as a Biostatistics Director at Synteract from August 2019 to January 2022. Before that, they served as a Consultant/Clinical Program Director at Fitzgerald Clinical Research, LLC from February 2018 to August 2019. Nancy has significant experience in leadership roles, having served as the Chief Executive Officer at QST Consultations, Ltd from 2012 to 2018. Prior to that, they held various positions at QST Consultations, Ltd, including Director of Project Management, Director of California Operations, Project Manager/Biostatistician, and Biostatistician. Nancy has extensive experience in study design, study strategy, protocol development, FDA meetings, and managing budgets and operational activities. Nancy has contributed to numerous clinical studies throughout their career.

Nancy Fitzgerald, MS, MBA has a Master's Degree in Biostatistics from Western Michigan University, which was obtained in 1998. Nancy also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Organization and Management from California Southern University, completed in 2010. For their undergraduate education, Nancy obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from Grand Valley State University in 1996.

In addition to their degrees, Nancy has obtained certifications including Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) from the Society of Clinical Research Associates in September 2018, and Regulatory Affairs Certification in Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals (Dual) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) in 2015.
