Joanna Jay

Joanna Jay has held a variety of roles in the clinical operations field since 2011. In 2021, they began their current role as Director of Clinical Operations at DermBiont, Inc. Prior to that, they were Associate Director of Clinical Operations at the same company. From 2018 to 2021, they held the role of Senior Manager Clinical Operations at Juul Labs, as well as Sr. Clinical Project Lead and Clinical Project Lead. From 2015 to 2018, they were Clinic Site Manager and Clinical Coordinator at Cutera, Inc. From 2011 to 2015, they held positions at UC Merced, including Interpersonal Developmental Psychology Research Assistant, Library Student Supervisor, Developmental Psychology Research Assistant, and Early-Child Developmental Psychology Research Assistant.

Joanna Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of California, Merced. Joanna has also obtained certifications from the National Institutes of Health, Duke University, the CITI Program at the University of Miami, and the American Red Cross. In 2021 they obtained an Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research certification from the National Institutes of Health. In 2020 they obtained an ORAQ Regulatory Affairs Training Program certification from Duke University. In 2015 they obtained a Protecting Human Research Participants certification from the National Institutes of Health and a CPR, AED certification from the American Red Cross. In 2012 they obtained a Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative certification from the CITI Program at the University of Miami.
