Allyson Perry

Allyson Perry, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of medicine and research. Allyson currently serves as the Medical Director at DermTech since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Medical Science Liaison at DermTech from June 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining DermTech, Allyson worked at Avant Healthcare where they held several roles including Medical Director from April 2020 to June 2021, Associate Medical Director from December 2018 to April 2020, Associate Medical Liaison from July 2017 to December 2018, Senior Medical Writer from April 2017 to December 2018, and Medical Writer from February 2016 to April 2017.

Allyson also has experience in academia, specifically at Vanderbilt University where they conducted graduate research from August 2009 to August 2016. Additionally, they pursued freelance work as a Medical Writer from April 2014 to February 2016.

Allyson's early experiences include working as an Undergraduate Research Student at DePauw University from August 2008 to December 2008, and as an Undergraduate Research Intern at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School from June 2008 to August 2008.

Allyson Perry, Ph.D. obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cancer Biology from Vanderbilt University between 2009 and 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at DePauw University from 2005 to 2009. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Group 3 Good Clinical Practice and ICH (GCP) from the CITI Program in March 2023.
