Banoo N. Karanjia

Banoo N. Karanjia is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic meetings management and project management within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Currently serving as Director of Strategic Meetings Management at AmerisourceBergen since September 2017, Banoo oversees the planning and execution of company-sponsored events. In addition, as a Senior Account Manager at Derse since January 2015, Banoo manages the Janssen tradeshow program while collaborating with business partners on strategic event planning. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Conventions at Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Manager of Meetings and Conventions at Janssen, and various positions at Schering-Plough, Johnson & Johnson, and McNeil Consumer Healthcare, contributing to successful management of budgets, logistics, and event execution for numerous national and international conventions. Banoo holds a Master of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Bridgeport and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from La Salle University.
