Sarah Lucas

Sarah Lucas is an accomplished academic and music educator serving as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at Texas A&M University-Kingsville since August 2019. In addition to this role, Sarah has been a Teaching Artist of Music History and Musicology at Drake University since August 2018 and contributes to the Des Moines Symphony and Academy as an Instructor for the Classical Conversations Series from September 2018. Sarah holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Musicology from the University of Iowa (2012-2018), a Master’s Degree in Music History from the University of Missouri-Columbia (2010-2012), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Central Methodist University (2006-2010).
