Daniel Shuman

Daniel Shuman is a medical student at Des Moines University, enrolled from July 2023 to May 2027, pursuing a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Previously, Daniel worked at Sharp HealthCare as a Hospital Transporter from February 2022 to July 2023, where responsibilities included intra-facility patient transport and training new employees. Prior experience includes serving as an Emergency Medical Technician at Royal Ambulance (February 2021 - February 2022), a site lead PE teacher for grades 3 to 5 at Sports For Learning (November 2020 - June 2021), and various internships in ecological research and restoration, including roles at Storke Ranch and Moorea Coral Reef Lab. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UC Santa Barbara between 2016 and 2020.
