Melissa Harrington

Melissa Harrington has a diverse work experience in the field of customs compliance and operations. Melissa began their career as an intern at General Motors Corporation, where they facilitated a new process for identifying NAFTA eligible parts. Melissa then joined PwC, where they worked as a Tax Manager and later as a Senior Associate, specializing in import and export compliance. At PwC, they managed teams, conducted compliance assessments, and led successful compliance reviews for clients. Melissa also worked as an Independent Project Consultant at Huron Consulting Group, where they provided import strategy recommendations and compliance training for Hummer Corporation. Melissa later joined Samsung Electronics America as a Manager of Customs Compliance, leading a team responsible for both import and export compliance. During their time at Samsung, they implemented new compliance procedures and successfully led a Customs Compliance audit. Most recently, Melissa has been working at Descartes Systems Group (previously Customs Info) as the Sales Director for the Content Business.

Melissa Harrington attended the University of Michigan from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a BBA with a focus on Finance.
