Trevor Szutu

Trevor Szutu, CPA, CBV, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they conducted audits and provided consulting services for companies in different sectors. In 2011, they joined KPMG Canada as a Manager, specializing in transactions and restructuring, advising clients on business valuation, corporate finance, and financial due diligence. After working at KPMG for four years, Trevor moved to Conversant Intellectual Property Management, where they served as an Assistant Controller, overseeing patent management and licensing. Trevor then joined Mitel, a global communications company, as a Director of Mergers and Acquisitions, responsible for strategic planning and executing acquisitions and partnerships. Currently, Trevor holds the position of Vice President of Corporate Development at Descartes Systems Group, a provider of logistics and supply chain solutions. Trevor Szutu, CPA, CBV, MBA pursued a degree in Commerce with a focus on Accounting at the University of Ottawa. Trevor then completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Queen's University. Additionally, Trevor obtained certifications as a Chartered Accountant from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) and as a Chartered Business Valuator from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.
