Vineeth Sampath

Vineeth Sampath has worked in various roles in the marketing and user acquisition fields since 2011. In 2011, they were an Advancement Intern at the Telfer School of Management - École de gestion Telfer, where they managed the alumni database and increased alumni engagement. In 2013, they were a Business Process Consultant at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where they developed business intelligence reports. Vineeth was also VP Marketing at Enactus uOttawa, where they managed a team of 3 to strategically plan, execute, and track Enactus uOttawa's marketing initiatives. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Minto Group Inc. as a Digital Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Administrator. In 2017, they joined Shopify as a Senior Growth Marketing Manager | Brand + Audience Expansion, Product Marketing Manager | Multi-channel Growth, and Growth | Burst. In 2022, they joined Descript as Growth | User Acquisition Lead.

Vineeth Sampath has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Marketing from the University of Ottawa, obtained in 2014. Prior to that, they attended Mother Teresa High School from 2006-2010 and John Rennie High School from 2004-2006. Vineeth also holds certifications in Analytics with SQL from Udemy (2014), Mindtrust Leadership Development Program from Mindtrust (2014), and Inbound Certification from HubSpot (2015).
