Lara Pilny

Lara Pilny has extensive work experience in the field of design, specifically in UX and graphic design. Lara currently holds the position of UX Product Designer II at Paychex since February 2023. Prior to this, Lara worked as a shop owner and designer at Design Bundles from November 2018. Lara also owned their own design company, Taylor George Designs, LLC, starting from November 2016.

Before joining Paychex, Lara served as a UX Designer at Continued from January 2022 to December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. UX|UI Designer at Sengled from June 2020 to December 2021.

Lara also has experience in web design and development. Lara worked as a Sr. Web|UX Designer at Summit Racing Equipment from May 2014 to April 2018. Before that, they were a Lead Web|UX Designer at Hoover | Dirt Devil | Oreck (TTI Floorcare) from March 2012 to May 2014.

Earlier in their career, Lara worked as a Web Designer/Webmaster at Cleveland Clinic from June 2008 to March 2012. Lara also gained experience as a Graphic Designer at All Aboard Travel from February 2006 to February 2007 and as a Packaging Designer at Zenex International from July 2005 to February 2006.

Lara Pilny has a diverse education history. In 1996, they attended Aurora HS, where they completed their general studies. Following that, from 2000 to 2002, they enrolled at ITT Technical Institute, where they obtained an Associates degree in Web Development and Design. In 2002, they attended the International Academy of Design, specializing in Graphic Design and Interactive Multimedia, earning another Associates degree. Later, from 2012 to 2015, Lara pursued higher education at the University of Phoenix, earning a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, with a focus on Multimedia and Visual Communication. Additionally, they have obtained certification in "Fundamentals of Supervision and Management" from Cengage Learning in 2015 and certification in "Accessibility for Designers" from Deque Systems, Inc in December 2022.
