Valerie Ocampo

Valerie Ocampo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Valerie started their career as an Assistant Vice President for Internal Affairs at the Export Management Society in 2013, where they reported to the Vice President and fulfilled duties in the absence of the Vice President. From 2014 to 2015, Valerie worked as the Vice President for External Affairs at the same organization, handling all activities held outside of the college.

In 2015, Valerie had an internship at Monde Nissin Corporation. Valerie then joined SM Retail as a Category Merchandise Manager - Store Consignor for Bags from April to August 2016. Following that, Valerie worked as a Marketing Associate (Social Media and PR) at Tecson Flowers from September 2016 to February 2017.

Valerie then joined MyKuya, a portfolio company under Machine Ventures, where they worked in Marketing and Business Development from September 2017 to August 2018. During this time, they helped connect customers with helpers to simplify their tasks.

From 2017 to 2018, Valerie also had roles at Machine Ventures. Valerie started as a Junior Marketing Associate in April 2017 and worked their way up to become a Junior Executive Associate - Assistant To CEO from June 2017 to March 2018. Valerie then became a Senior Executive Associate - Assistant To CEO from March to August 2018. Machine Ventures specializes in developing successful businesses and transforming ideas into companies.

Valerie had a brief role at Inmusik as an Operations Lead & Assistant to CEO from August 2018 to December 2019. Inmusik is a blockchain-powered music ecosystem that allows fans to invest in the music they love.

Valerie then joined 500 Designs in August 2018 as an Executive Assistant to the Founders. 500 Designs is a digital experience agency for startups specializing in UX/UI design, web design, marketing strategy, and branding. In February 2020, they took on the role of People Operations Lead at the same company.

Valerie'slatest role is at Design Force, where they serve as a People Operations Lead starting from May 2020.

Throughout their career, Valerie has gained experience in areas such as people operations, executive assistance, marketing, and business development.

Valerie Ocampo graduated from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration, majoring in Export Management. Prior to that, they attended St. Paul College Pasig from 2009 to 2012 for their secondary education. Before entering St. Paul College Pasig, Valerie also attended Diliman Preparatory School from 2007 to 2009 for secondary education. Valerie completed their grade school education at Sisters of Mount Carmel Catholic School from 1999 to 2006.
