Matthew Alsop

Matthew Alsop has held various roles in the finance and commercial sectors since 2000. Matthew began their career as a Finance Director (FD) at VA TECH T&D in 2003, before taking on a similar role at Andritz Hydro in 2000. In 2007, they became Business Unit Director at Worldmark, and in 2008 they were a Consultant at Consequent Ltd, providing SME's in Scotland with advice on Financial, Commercial, and Strategic matters. In 2009, they became a Director at Viopti, and in 2013 they were appointed CFO at STIRLING ANGLIAN PHARMACEUTICALS LIMITED. Most recently, in 2014 they were appointed Finance Director at Gas Sensing Solutions (GSS), and in 2019 they were appointed Commercial Director at designLED Products Ltd.

Matthew Alsop completed their Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Account and Finance from Teesside University between 1994 and 1997. Prior to that, they attended Whitehaven High School.
