James Kennedy

James Kennedy is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product design and management, currently serving as Development Leader at Design + Industry since March 2022. Prior roles include Design Director at Studio Proper, where innovation in smart device interaction was prioritized, and Director of Product Hardware at Vertisense Inc., overseeing the development of the first smartphone breathalyzer. With a diverse background as an industrial design contractor and previous leadership positions at various design firms, James has contributed to multiple industries while fostering valuable partnerships. James holds a Masters of Industrial Design from Swinburne University of Technology and was a founding partner of the Plus 1 Foundation, focusing on educational challenges.
