Carrie Miller (Morrison) has a diverse work experience across various roles and companies. Carrie started their career as a Human Resources Intern at Broadvision, Inc in 2004. Following that, they took on roles at Azusa Pacific University, where they worked as a Community/Residence Advisor and IT Customer Service representative from 2004 to 2009. In 2006, they joined Interior Door Replacement Co as an Office Manager/Inside & Outside Sales Representative, handling various responsibilities such as managing facilities, operations, and providing project support. From 1995 to 2013, Carrie held volunteer positions at Bridges Community Church, serving as Italy Missions Trip Coordinator and KOK Children's Choir Adult Leader/Coordinator. Their next role was at AgilOne, where they worked for ten years, initially as an Executive Assistant/Office Manager/HR Generalist and later as the Director of HR responsible for human resources, operations, benefits administration, and implementation of HRIS and payroll systems. Currently, Carrie is the Head of Global Benefits at Acquia, a position they started in 2020.

Carrie Miller (Morrison) obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a Mathematics Concentration from Azusa Pacific University in 2006. Carrie also completed another Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from the same university during the same time period.
