In 2004, they joined Rio Networks as a Technical Support representative. Erin then moved to TR Miles Technical Consultants Inc., where they worked as an Information Technology Analyst and Project Support until 2015.

In 2006, Erin started their own venture, Erin Rasmussen Web Design, where they worked as a Designer and Developer. Their responsibilities included analyzing projects, web designing, project planning, and coordination with other solution providers. Erin utilized tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Gimp, and Acrobat. Erin continued their work at Erin Rasmussen Web Design until 2015.

In 2015, Erin joined Acquia as a Support Engineer. Erin gradually progressed to roles such as Senior Support Engineer, Technical Account Manager, and Senior Technical Account Manager. At Acquia, Erin worked with various interconnected technologies, including Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL, Drupal, CDN, JS, CSS, SMACS, Varnish, Memcache, and Nginx. Erin also collaborated with other teams to investigate and resolve application and server-side issues.
