Gabriel M. Arout has over four decades of work experience in the graphic design and print procurement fields. Gabriel M. began their career at Chenault Associates in 1974, where they served as a Studio Production Artist and Illustrator, creating artwork and illustrations for clients in the travel industry. In 1976, they joined Peat Marwick as a Graphic Design Specialist, before going on to work at American Express Company in 1978 as a Graphics Studio Project Manager and Commercial Print Procurement specialist. At American Express, they managed the creative and production aspects of client collateral campaigns and worked with the purchasing department for printing services procurement. In 1986, they moved to Salomon Smith Barney/Shearson Lehman Brothers as a Senior Project Manager and Commercial Print Procurement specialist, where they worked with various business groups to design and produce collateral programs. Gabriel M. also created and managed the Print Procurement group within the company. In 2001, they joined Citi as a Senior Graphics Project Manager, where they supported a global marketing group in designing and producing collateral materials for major global transaction services graphics campaigns. Lastly, they worked at DeskNet Inc. starting in 2009 as a Customer Service Specialist, providing support for Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors and staff in using and managing the FA Marketing Center portal software.
Gabriel M. Arout earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphics and Art History from Hunter College from 1969 to 1973. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Graphic Arts Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, from 1973 to 1974.
