Peter Zummo

Peter Zummo has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Peter'smost recent position was as the Director of New Product Introduction at Desktop Metal starting from July 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Engineering Manager at Senior Metal Bellows from June 2022 to July 2023. Peter also has extensive experience at Desktop Metal, where they held various engineering and managerial roles from 2017 to 2022. Before joining Desktop Metal, Peter worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Sensata Technologies for seven years. Peter began their career as a Mechanical Engineer Coop at Farm Design, Inc. in 2008 and then served as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Mastercraft Industries, Inc. in 2007.

Peter Zummo completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Design, Innovation, and Society from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2009. Peter then pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, graduating in 2010.
