Alan Furlong

Alan Furlong is an experienced Engineering Manager at Despegar since April 2022, previously holding multiple roles at DIRECTV Latin America from January 2012 to April 2022, including Jefe COE Business Intelligence and Project Manager BI, where responsibilities included overseeing business intelligence hardware and software, managing high-performance platforms, and leading significant infrastructure migrations. Prior to that, Alan worked at Hewlett-Packard as an ETL Developer and Technical Analyst, and at IT Patagonia S.A. and Ergo Renova as an ETL Developer. Alan holds a degree in Information Systems Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional and has advanced education in Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, and Business Management from the same university and Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
