Jorge Gabriel mac Tier

Jorge Gabriel Mac Tier is an experienced Application Security Engineering Manager at Despegar since September 2022, specializing in pentesting and DevSecOps. Prior to this role, Jorge co-organized Mobile Hacking Space and worked at Deloitte from August 2017 to September 2022 as a Lead Specialist in Mobile Application Security, where responsibilities included external and internal network assessments, as well as web and mobile application penetration testing. Jorge's initial roles at Deloitte included Sr. Specialist, Senior IT Security Consultant, and IT Security Consultant, all focused on ethical hacking and security assessments across various IT domains. Jorge also served as a Lead Programmer at Osm Studio from June 2014 to August 2017 and holds a degree in computing from ET N° 26 D.E N°6 Confederacion Suiza, completed in 2012.
